Ok, maybe I'm promoting the stereotype of the happy peasant, but really, I would rather be this guy taking a snooze on a pile of watermelons than this Portuguese woman who is watching her stock portfolio tank.  Then again, fast forward to their elder years...she is likely to be better off financially than he.  Who will be a position to comfortably lie back and enjoy an afternoon nap then?
