I have a feeling we've dodged a bullet my friends. At 7:09 pm we heard Claire McCaskill and Elizabeth Warren have won and President Obama is the projected winner. I know, early hours, but still. Hopeful. I'm hanging out with The Bums and we're laughing and whooping it up! Drinking pinot and eating chocolate.
I've been a nervous wreck all day, but I can finally feel the tension in my chest beginning to abate.
PS 8:30 West Coast time: many news outlets announcing the President has won re-election. Oh happy day!
