Hardest Trick in the World

"To be aware of a single shortcoming within oneself is more useful than to be aware of a thousand in somebody else. Rather than speaking badly about people and in ways that will produce friction and unrest in their lives, we should practice a purer perception of them, and when we speak of others, speak of their good qualities." - His Holiness the Dalai Lama

This is something I could work at my entire life and still not get it right most of the time.  I practice, I do.  His words are a good reminder for me, especially now.  I have been finding myself pointing out others' shortcomings when it's none of my business.
