Mubarak has resigned...now I can get back to sweeping floors and kneading bread. It's amazing, really, what Egyptians have done. Now their real work begins -- can you imagine sorting it all out? Eh, not me. Filling the green waste can with lemon tree clippings, and sweeping the dead leaves out of the gutter is about all I can handle. I'm keeping it small.
All power to these people: they've earned it, let's hope they get the kind of government they want. When stuff like this happens, it makes me wonder if I would have what it takes to participate in a righteous revolution?
Today, around the neighborhood, though, it's just another day. Thank goodness. Happy Friday, y'all.
