Mother's Day Tribute to Love

Just in time for Mother's Day. A tribute to the power of motherly (and fatherly) love and the power of justice and truth. I rented the dvd from Netflix and was a bit afraid to watch -- I know the horror stories all too well. Be assured, however, this film is affirming and uplifting.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I know you struggle with this issue, and I appreciate the chasm you have had to cross. A parent's unconditional love is all that any child wants.

Happy MD, TD!

Did you ever find out who the Secret Santa was, by the way?

"Happy Mother's Day, Mom!" And if that affirmation is not there-may we recognize, accept, and gain strength from that which comes from our extended family and friends. Unconditional love is not too much to ask or hope for- from us...'the emotional ones'.

mandt, oh, you blessed sweehearts, we ARE the 'emotional ones' aren't we? We're the ones that feel and try to give voice to all the underground family issues...we are the radar, the compass, the communicator. And often, the messenger gets shot. Ouch.

I am so lucky, so delighted, to have such fine friends as you.

Tara~please don't mind a response to your response...to my response-
Your kind words and kind heart are so welcomed and appreciated. It's like little personal bursts of light that show the way thru a long, dark, cold, terrible tunnel: affirmation. One of my first thoughts likened you to the brief joy I felt pausing to listen to a wren's song while working as a gardener today. Corny perhaps, but for that brief passing- I felt peace. Hopefully, what might come from our "Beautiful Uncut Hair of Graves" post (thank you much for the acknowledgement!)would be the realization that one thing we all CAN do is to affect each other...in a positive way. We did it before in the sixty's and early seventies. Waaaaaaaay before your time, we're sure----------Namaste.
