Christmas 2007

From my original Christmastime post in 2005 comes our blurry tree. I've been awake since 5:00 a.m. Must've been the hooves on the roof.
I'm pouring hot coffee down my very sore throat which has been aching since yesterday morning. Oh joy. A Christmas cold. Despite that, I'm looking forward to a holiday walk with Robin and Roger, if they can pull themselves away from family obligations.
I received a wonderful letter yesterday from old old friends who now live in New Mexico. Self described "geezers on recumbant bicycles." They are indeed. Batman and Robin. Nick and Nora. Fred and Wilma. Their old radio show names: the Lost Ranger and his sidekick Smokey. Wha-hoo! What a joy to hear from them. Like the above mentioned R&R, the Lost Ranger and Smokey are an inspiration to couples everywhere.
Oh, me thinks I hear the kid a-yawning down the hall in her room. Time to "rise and shine." Time to turn on my cell phone so the older daughter can get in touch from Princeton Junction, New Jersey.
Glad tidings to you! Peace and Joy. Health and Happiness.

Sorry we didn't get to take that walk. It would have been great. But, you did get to meet my MIL. How was that for a holiday treat? Hope your day was grand. It was lovely to see you and R out and about.
i hope you had a good day, tara.
although i loved being with family, i have to admit that it was one of the strangest holidays i can recall. and that is truly saying something. just a sign of these strange times, i guess. love to you and yours.
Great picture---It would make a beautiful, latge scale painting if I could capture that wonderful luminosity and movement. Thinking of you's this holiday and hope for a New Year that finds us surviving and thriving. Peace MandT & Bodhi
Ha, someone else who can take a blurred photo. We are a rare breed ;)
